Professional Feng Shui Consultation
- enhance your spaces for health, wealth and prosperity

Feng Shui is the Chinese philosophy, practice of, and spiritual approach to architecture and interior design. As an ancient art of placement, the goal of Feng Shui is to achieve harmony, comfort and balance, first in one’s environment and then in one’s life.

Pronounced ‘fung schway’, Feng Shui literally translates as “wind and water” and refers to the earliest forces of nature that shaped where and how we lived and how prosperous we would be. It is said that Feng Shui is over 5,000 years old.

Why consider a Feng Shui Consultation?

When your Feng Shui is not harness correctly or is not as good as it can be, you know something is not right. Your life might be a struggle while you feel stuck, depressed and unmotivated. Your relationships with your partner, lover, family, friends, mentors, clients or associates may be strained for seemingly no reason at all. You might feel tense and on-edge in your space, while you cannot seem to relax and struggle to sleep or concentrate. Maybe you are overwhelmed by too much clutter and cannot see your way out. A Feng Shui consultation will quickly get to the bottom of your problem and offers practical advise to better your situation - no matter what that is.

Maybe you are starting a new project and need some inspiration; consider a new job, career change or starting your own business; want to travel and see the world, save for a special project or improve your finances; find your soul mate - these and more, are all times Feng Shui can offer specific enhancements and embellishments for your space to support your goals.

If you are building a new home or renovating your existing property, a Feng Shui consultation will help you to best optimise your property. If you are selling your property, Feng Shui can help the process go quickly and smoothly.

A Feng Shui consultation is always beneficial, informative, practical and personal to your own situation. During a consultation, you will gain much information about the influence your surroundings have on you and how you can use décor and design to improve your health, wealth and well-being and that of your family or co-workers.

Different Feng Shui Schools

There are several different Schools of Feng Shui, with two main schools in the East and up to eight taught in the United States.

Almost all Feng Shui Schools have certain important core principles and teachings in common, but often vary greatly in the practical application of these concepts. As can be expected, it can be and is often a daunting task for the untrained enthusiast to distinguish between the different schools and consistently apply Feng Shui from one perspective, while at the same time understanding where they overlap and to professionally integrate remedies where appropriate.

Clients will often find preferences and discrimination against different schools even amongst professional consultants. However, practitioners with the International Feng Shui Guild must comply with a minimum knowledge pertaining to all schools and must treat and respect all schools equally.

Feng Shui consultations to suit your needs

As a professional feng shui consultant, I practice traditional Form School Feng Shui and the Black Hat Tantric Buddhist School of Feng Shui introduced to the West by Professor Lin Yun. Black Hat Feng Shui emerged before 1,200 AD as Feng Shui from China blended with Tibetan Buddhism. Using Western concepts such as physiology and psychology, Black Hat Feng Shui incorporates traditional directional methods into a system of reading energy with the Bagua, an energy map that can be easily aligned to the front door of a house or room, regardless of its direction. It does not rely on complicated astrological calculations and uses practicality and common sense in placing Feng Shui remedies or cures, requiring your involvement, intention and judgement.

Today’s environment is very different from the one in which our ancestors lived. Accordingly, this approach accounts for the alteration of natural energy flow and electromagnetic waves caused by modern skyscrapers, metal construction materials and electrical devices, working well in both urban and rural environments.

My comprehensive and intensive, core consultation for homes and home-offices is perfectly tailored to your needs, providing you with all the necessary core Feng Shui information to immediately start bringing harmony, comfort and balance to your space and life.

You will be shown:

- How the architecture of your space and layout of your furniture affect your Feng Shui
- How the Five Elements work together to create harmony and how they should be used in your space
- How to use the principles of Yin and Yang to enhance your spaces
- How to recognise and clear your clutter
- How to use appropriate Feng Shui remedies for your space correctly, including:
  • art
  • colour
  • crystals
  • mirrors
  • light

Feng Shui consultations are conducted in person and on-site.

If for some reason I am not able to visit your property due to logistical reasons, a written report can be prepared for you based on the floor plan, photos and other information provided by you.

Supporting your Feng Shui goals

After the core assessment of your space, you may require additional or follow-up consultations. These consultations are structured to assist you in implementing your Feng Shui scheme and may include any of the following:
  • Complex problem assessment and resolution
  • Feng Shui cure implementation
  • Clutter clearing of excessive or problematic clutter
  • Space clearing and blessing
  • Approval or selection of décor and furniture
  • Colour scheme and mood board development
  • Consultation with your Architect or Interior Designer
A note about floor plans

It is strongly suggested that a floor plan be prepared by the client and submitted to me prior to consultation.

The core consultation is aimed at being very intensive and comprehensive and a floor plan prior to consultation will ensure maximum quality consultation time. This is especially true if the property and house are large, with complex layouts and/or multiple levels and outbuildings.

The floor plan may be the architectural plans or a hand-drawn sketch, as long as it is relatively accurate.

Corporate Feng Shui consultations

By nature, corporate consultations are often more involved and complicated depending on the office environment and employee structure. Working with your Architect or Interior Designer, corporate consultations will be quoted for individually and tailored to your specific needs.
